About MARU

Meet Maru, a special little guy with a huge heart! Maru was born with a few unique challenges-one eye never fully formed, and he has an old leg injury that healed on its own. His leg may look a little different, but it doesn't slow him down one bit-he zips around happily and pain-free! Maru also has some unique anatomy and 'plumbing', and he squats to pee like a female dog. Maru is around 5 years old and 8-9 lbs and is fostering in Tempe. Recently, Maru had a dental (he's now down 27 teeth) and a neuter, so he's all set for his forever home. He is a sweet, submissive boy who loves people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and even does fine with cats. He's working on his house training and making progress every day.
