When Big Country first came to us, he was trembling with fear, low growling, and refusing to walk-a dog so shut down that his future looked heartbreakingly uncertain. But now? He's done a complete 180. ? This sweet boy is smiling, seeking out attention, and walking around with confidence. The pup who once wanted nothing to do with people is now leaning in for love and showing us just how happy he can be. ? At just about 2 years old, Big Country is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. Now he just needs a committed foster-or even better, a forever family-to call his own. All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heart-worm tested, and treated if necessary. Vet references and a home/family visit are required, and an adoption fee applies. Transport options are available within our area of operation, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England. Please note we do not adopt animals into Canada. Visit www.pmarinc.org for more information, and to fill out an application.
