Radar- Loyal Best Friend in Training Name: Radar Breed Mix (according to Google Lens): German Shepherd Husky (with a dash of magic) Special Features: Eyes that change colors throughout the day (yellow, brown, green, and even a sparkle of blue) Objective To join a loving forever family where I can use my intelligence, loyalty, and snuggle skills to bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love every single day. Qualifications & Skills Intelligent Learner: Quick to master potty training with very few accidents. Adaptable Pack Member: Shy at first, but once trust is built, I'm the ultimate cuddle buddy. Child-Friendly: Gentle, patient, and playful with kids. Dog-Friendly: Initially cautious with new dogs, but now a full-time playmate with my big foster sibling. (Still working on winning over the little dog in the house.) Gentle Puppy: Rarely play-bites compared to most pups my age. Toy Enthusiast: Loves all toys, especially when combined with snacks. Snuggle Pro: Couch cuddling is my specialty. Work Experience Security Intern: Will growl/bark at new dogs until I confirm they're safe-then initiate play mode. Escape Artist (Apprentice): Can climb out of puppy playpens if left alone too long (classic husky move). Walking Buddy: Enjoys walks but warms up slowly to new people and experiences. Loyal Companion: Fiercely devoted and happiest when I can see my humans. Strengths Unconditional love Fierce loyalty Gorgeous, ever-changing eyes Willingness to learn Huge heart wrapped in a fluffy coat Ideal Position A forever family who will appreciate my smarts, patience, and snuggles while helping me grow into the confident, loyal best friend I'm meant to be. Bonus if you have a playful pup sibling (or a cozy couch for us to share). Radar - applying for the role of your new best friend! Our standard adoption fee is $375 if paid by cash or check, or $385 if paid by credit card (which includes a $10 processing fee). This fee covers spay/neuter surgery when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, and microchipping. In order to be considered for adoption, we require a fully completed application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with your entire family. Please note that submitting an application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee approval-it simply allows us to begin the review process. If you are interested in adopting or would like additional information, please email us at [email protected] to request an application. Keep in mind that the breed and size listed in each dog's biography are our best educated guesses and are not guaranteed. Safe Haven Dog Rescue reserves the right to refuse the adoption of any dog or puppy to any applicant for any reason.
