About Nash

Adoption Fee: $375
Beagle mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Nash! Hi! My name is Nash. I'm an 11-week-old, 10 lb (and growing!) small/medium hound mix. My two brothers and I were found in a ditch in Tennessee. We came to rescue sick and scared, but with lots of love and care, I've grown into a healthy, happy boy who's ready for my forever family. When I first arrived, I was too afraid for people to touch me-but now, I'm the first to greet my foster mom every morning or hop right into a stranger's lap! My happiest place is playing with my brothers and dog friends, and BOY do I love food. If you drop it, I'll find it! I can be a little dramatic if my people leave me for a few minutes (I'll whimper), but I'm learning that they always come back. I absolutely love to run, wrestle, and play tug of war with rope toys. Turkey tendons are my favorite chew, and sleeping next to you or another dog is my favorite place to be. I'm smart, social, and affectionate. I adore my 6 foster dog friends-especially the pittie mix and the Aussie, who take turns being my 'mama.' I've even met a Chihuahua and some cats and thought they were fun! I also love kids, from toddlers to age 10, and I'll happily sit in their laps for gentle snuggles. I'm still learning about teeth and appropriate chewing, but I'm easily redirected. I've already mastered potty pads and am doing great with my potty training routine. I play happily in my crate/playpen, and after a few puppy howls, I stay quiet all night. I know 'sit,' 'touch,' and 'no,' and I'm working on 'down' and name recall, too. I always come running when my foster mom calls me! If you're looking for a playful but slightly more chill pup who loves both dogs and humans, I might be your perfect match. I don't have to be carried everywhere, but I love being near my people and dog friends. With me, you'll get the best of both worlds-fun playtime and sweet cuddles. Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). . It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed. An application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee adoption but does allow us to begin the review process. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed. Safe Haven Dog Rescue reserves the right to refuse adoption of any dog or puppy to any applicant (adopter) for any reason.
