About Duke

This sweet, handsome boy came to us after his owner was hospitalized, and sadly, no one came forward to reclaim him. But now, Duke is ready to start a new chapter with a loving family who'll appreciate all the joy he brings! Duke is a mostly medium energy guy, but with a playful spirit and big heart he can easily kick it into a higher gear for fun. He's potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash without pulling, and knows his basic commands like sit and give paw - especially if treats are involved! Just be sure to skip the chicken, as Duke is allergic to it. When he's out in the play yard, Duke gets the zoomies like a champ, and it's a delight to watch. He'll burn off some energy, then settle in nicely. His absolute favorite thing? Squeaky toys! Toss one once, and he'll entertain himself by running around and tossing it in the air like a goofball for a good while, all by himself. Duke is affectionate, loves being pet, and thrives on human companionship. He's the perfect mix of playful and cuddly - ready for adventures or couch time, whatever the day brings.
