Courtesy Posting: URGENT AT LA CITY SHELTER WHICH IS FULL - LOS ANGELES ANIMAL SERVICES- SOUTH LOS ANGELES SHELTER- ADORABLE, YOUNG 41 LB FEMALE CHOW X 'MANGO' ID #A2217976 NEEDS LOVING AND RESPONSIBLE ADOPTER OR FOSTER AND RESCUE ASAP TO SAVE HER LIFE, BEFORE SHE IS EUTHANIZED FOR SPACE! Help! This LA City shelter is full, and Mango, along with her friend Shadow were surrendered to the shelter due to an alleged landlord not allowing them. Unfortunately, the owner left no further information other than their names and approximate ages. These friendly dogs can be fostered, rescued or adopted separately, although if anyone can take both, that's even better, but certainly not required as it is better to save one than none. Mango is said to be 2 years young and weighs only 41 lbs so she is perfectly sized. We do not know what she is mixed with but her tongue is more pink. Shadow is said to be only 1 years old and weighs 66 lbs and has a more blackish tongue. Both are listed as chow mixes. We are unclear if the two dogs are actually related, or just lived in the same home. They have no reported medical issues or behavior issues noted, and there were just spayed and neutered by the shelter.
