About Mel

Moe is a large hound mix. My so rescued Mel, his 2brothers and a sister. The sister has been adopted. I will be doing other applications for the 2 other males as required by rescue me.Mel is about 60 to 80 lbs. He barks when you approach because unfortunately the only place my son could build a decent size pen, with each getting a separate dog house/shelter. Therefore they have never been able to interact with anyone but my son. He is on the large size he has never been leash trained. He can sit, lay down and offer a paw on command.. He will bark like crazy if you go to the pen. To him everyone is a stranger. He calms down after a few minutes. Usually when my son is there with them. We think he would be good as a hunting dog or guard dog. If you woulke to come see him we are usually available anytime. I have not been able to up load any pictures but will keep trying.
