About Daphne

This is an extremely hard decision for me. I am needing to re-home my dog Daphen. She is 8 years old, beagle mix, who is sweet as can be and relatively low maintenance overall. However, she has severe separation anxiety every time I/roommate leaves. She has always suffered from it but is has progressively become worse due to family concerns/needing to relocate. Over the course of many months, I have tried multiple strategies including professional training to help her with no significant results. It has became a health and safety risk at this point, as she will pant/drool/scratch/cries for hours. Therefore, I think it is in her best interest that I find a home for her where someone is home a majority of the time (works from home, retired). If you are willing to love my sweet girl and give her a healthy life basically outside of a kennel, please let me know. I am able to keep her in my home until another appropriate one is found. This is not the choice I want to make but deep down I know it is the best for her in the long run. Thank you very much.
