male-intact aussie/border collie mix blue merle free, no fee Scared of thunderstorms and fireworks Pretty sure he thinks all new people are going to eat him Doesn't believe me when I explain they aren't Delicate princess that hides from scary noises or babies or pizza delivery guys or imaginary boogie men Never growled or shown any sign of aggression towards people but has towards cats, squirrels, and a dog on tv He is very nervous with new people and needs a day or so to feel comfortable. So I need someone patient, experienced, and kind to take him. I am moving soon and can't keep him. I need to find him a new home or I'll have to take him to the shelter. Would be best in a single dog home and I don't think he would be good with cats. He has another dog he lives with but he grew up with her so not sure if he'd get along with other dogs. He is house broken, never has accidents except this one timy my brother gave him a bunch of pizza. (I KNOW!). I worked with him on car rides for a couple of weeks as he is scared of everything. (He drools and kinda lays there.) By the fourth day he was loading up by himself and still hunkered down, but stop drooling. He was pretty reactive to other dogs but I made him sit and he just whined and stared. Not out of control, just needs work. But I just don't have time to keep up on training him. My kid went to college and I ended up with the dog. I've taken care of him, but no place allows dogs so I am finding homes for them. The other one is set, but need to find this guy a home asap. Please consider taking this sweet boy in. He needs someone that is willing to put a little time into him. Honestly, he would be excellent for a little old lady. He loves to cuddle and thinks he's a lap dog. He's very gentle and delicate with people. Would be an excellent walker with a little training. He'd also be a great ranch dog with training. He is very intelligent and trainable. Just hasn't been worked with a whole lot beyond basic house training. (Sit, back, lay down, etc) Please reply to this ad or tx me if you're interested.
