Minn is a Black Lab (not sure if purebred or mix) who is around 4 ish yrs old. We got him as a small 6 month old pup along his sister due to that the former owners were going to put them down. He weighed 112 lbs when he got neutered and has since gained weight due to being inside an enclosure. He is best away from other dogs and small animals/birds. He is a jealous boy and believe he may have attachment issues, when he is defending his property from passing cars, he also tends to bark at his sister angrily while she is hiding inside her house. When it comes to eating, he is wholesome and so into his food, he goes and takes it somewhere nice and quiet and lays down to enjoy it, but he is also a bully at times when he tends to take his sister's food when he gets the opportunity. He is a big baby and rather have all the attention to himself. When I try to pet his sister, he playfully bites her and pushes her away so he can get all the love. He also loves doing what is known as dog cobbing, when you sit down he comes and starts nibbling gently with his teeth, the cutest thing ever. He also makes himself a big baby, he rolls over putting all his weight on you when he wants belly rubs then will start kicking you away when he's had enough. He's pretty hefty and strong, I manage him well when I need to but im sure anytime soon he'll start dragging me. He would be better alone with no other dogs like how i mentioned before, he gets jealous and will want to bark and maybe attack another dog.(On one occasion he did manage to make a slit on my other smaller dog's ear due to that he was showing dominance, but separated they're okay) He does love his toys especially with peanut butter, and will pile them up once they're nice and free of pb. He is a good strong dog and does well defending the property. I want him to have an owner who also loves animals and that will be capable of wanting to deal with a hefty stubborn dog and have the patience to get to know him and gain his trust. I am not his owner, my sister is but he sees me more of his owner since I deal with him more. The reason I want a better place for him is that my parents dont want big dogs on the property and my sister doesnt provide the enough attention for him and I have very little time to give him the essential need and care for him due to my full time job. I really think he deserves another chance in having a happy life where he can live his crazy self without any trouble. If interested please send a text message. Thank you
