About Zinzhi

Zinzhi is a Black Lab (not sure if she is purebred or mix) around 4 ish years old. We took her in Dec 21' due to that her and her brother were going to be put down at 6 months old. She is best away from chickens or other small bird animals. Somewhat okay with cats if someone is around her to tell her no or slowly introducing to them. She does well with other dogs once she gets to know them (I did own a medium dog 3 years back and they got along alright, she respected her due to that she was younger than my other dog despite her being bigger in size) She weighed 74 lbs when spayed on 5/12/23 and gained a little more weight, I believe it is due to being in an enclosed area. Overall she is very loveable, loves to play and run freely to explore when she gets to, all while making sure to keep an eye on her so she doesnt get out of hand since she is a bit strong due to her size. Doesnt mind water nearby but doesnt like bathes at all so it's kinda a struggle. Loves treats of any kind, isnt really into toys but more into headpats, kisses, hugs, and caressing her. She is known to put her paw on your leg when you're kneeling down while staring at you, she feels safer being around someone she trusts and loves hugs and belly rubs. Her brother gives her a hard time so she has adapted not in a good way to avoid fighting with him (when fed she swallows instead of chewing her food so he wont take her food) but when you are nearby she takes her to time thoroughly chew her food. She likes to be independent and free, something i cannot give her due to her size and living close to a highway (afraid something would happen to her) She gets along with my medium sized male dog and other small male dog bc she's known them since she was a pup, she has never been introduced to other dogs outside of the family. She is very protective of the house but has never been mean or bit anyone. Reason Im looking to rehome her is due to my parents not wanting big dogs at home, and I not able to give her the attention and care she needs due to my full time job. I would love someone who loves animals as much as I do and have the time and patience with this loveable baby to take her in with open arms and give her the life she deserves (and plenty of treats) Please reach out with a text message.
