URGENT!!! South LA Shelter on Orange Alert!!! Lovely Senior German Shepherd 'Ash', A2206776!! ORANGE ALERT UNTIL THURS 9/4/2025 - MUST PULL BY 4PM! Ash is a 8 year old, 55 pound, Female. Arrived at the shelter as a Possible Owner on 7/1/2025. Animals appearing on the Orange/Medical Alert are not irremediably suffering but require urgent and/or extensive medical care beyond what LAAS can provide. Medical issues: 1) Severe gait abnormalities in hind limbs despite multimodal pain meds- severe hip and knee arthritis on x-rays, spinal abnormality also present 2) Senior pet 3) Dental disease 4) FAS 4 5) Underweight despite extra feedings is in Urgent Medical Need & will be euthanized on 9/4, end of day!!!!!
