Precious Pup alert! Only 20-something lbs! Notes from Tow Mater's foster mom: His breed? Your guess is as good as mine. At 6 months, he only weighs 20-25 lbs. He's very 'light-boned' not heavy at all. He's smaller than he looks in his pictures. This means a good guess on his full-grown weight will be 40-50 lbs. He is SMART and food driven, which will make further training easier. *All puppies need a lot of training to grow into good, well-behaved adult dogs. He has puppy energy. He's curious. But he also has a calm demeanor after he gets out a little energy. He's got a happy, friendly disposition. I was told he'd had some interest from a couple people at the shelter, but they said he was too hyper. Sir ... he's a 6 month old puppy in lockup. Of course he's bursting out of his skin. Once I got him home, he settled down tremendously and he's already entertaining himself with toys and just chilling in his bed in my office this morning. His first intro to our cat was good. The cat hissed, Mater said 'no thank you' and walked away. He hasn't had any potty accidents. Of course I'm taking him out about every hour so far, but he seems to understand that pottying is for outside. He went in his crate last night at bedtime and didn't protest or make a peep. He's just a ridiculously adorable, smart, well-dispositioned pup who is going to make someone a great (and very handsome) dog!
