About Happy

Happy is a shepherd mix, around 2 years old. We've been fostering him for a number of weeks and are looking to find him a long-term fostering situation or a permanent home. He's incredibly sweet, absolutely loves people and wants to be close at hand receiving pets at all times. We are working on vaccinations and neutering, but our care network is a bit overbooked right now - we'll be happy to contribute to medical expenses if an organization or another foster, etc, are able to take him in more quickly. He will do great with a family that want him to be very close at hand, or a single individual who is looking for a close 24/7 companion. Recommend experience training dogs through separation anxiety - he gets attached very quickly and wants to be very close at all times - as he gets more comfortable and familiar with his new situation, he will relax quickly.
