About Janie

Meet Janie Janie is a mature sweetheart with 80 pounds of love and wrinkles to share! Guessed to be a Mastiff/Boerboel mix, this adorable low-riding, stout lady is all about affection and companionship. She's already potty and crate trained, and with her low-to-medium energy, Janie is an easygoing companion. She enjoys her daily walks (they don't need to be long!) and strolls politely on leash, checking in with you often. Every now and then, she'll surprise you with a few joyful zoomies-especially if she has a squeaky toy in her mouth to proudly show off. Janie is very respectful in her space and not destructive, though plush toys don't stand a chance with her. She LOVES her food and treats she'll happily sit or shake her big, squishy paw to earn them. At home, she's all about snuggles and will curl up on the couch with you, wrinkles on full display. She's done great meeting her foster's big male dogs and enjoys walking alongside them. She's also shown curiosity toward her foster sister cat-interested but polite. But what's her very favorite thing, besides eating and lounging? Janie's signature move is her full-body wiggle dance whenever you come home or greet her in the morning. It's her big, happy way of saying 'I love you' and 'thank you.' If you're looking for a gentle, snuggly, food-loving best friend with a whole lot of love (and wrinkles) to give, Janie is your girl!
