About Arlo

(DOB: 04/22/2025) Due to Arlo's young age, he has not yet been neutered. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within a 1-hour drive time of Wake Forest NC). He is available after 9/15/25. When you see Arlo, you will definitely think HANDSOME; he is one gorgeous pup! He is a jaw-dropping-hunk-of-a-boy and certainly everyone who meets him thinks he is a 10! What a beautiful coat, amazing ears, eyes that shine, and wonderful smile! He will definitely be a head turner wherever he goes! Arlo's name was inspired by The Good Dinosaur - just like the character in the movie, he may have started small, but he's always had a huge heart and unstoppable spirit. Initially, the smallest pup in his litter, that didn't last long, growing fast and strong, he's already about 30 pounds and growing fast! Arlo learned early on how to stand his ground and persevere; the little pup that COULD! That same determination shines through in everything he does today. He is full of life, curiosity, and enthusiasm. He's always ready for his next adventure. He shares his foster home with one of his sisters, and the two of them love romping around the backyard, playing games, and cuddling up when it's time to recharge. He needs a home with a doggie sibling to keep his social spirit thriving, and a stay-at-home or work-from-home parent who's around most of the day to shower him with love and attention. A fenced yard is preferred but not 100% required as long as his fur-ever family can fully commit to the time and energy required for an active puppy well into adulthood! Arlo brings a contagious energy wherever he goes. He would thrive as the only pet in the home or with a larger dog who enjoys his spirited, playful style. While he's friendly with cats and smaller dogs, his exuberance can be a bit much for them. Affectionate, resilient, and playful, Arlo is a lovable pup who's ready to write his next chapter. As part of Arlo's $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered.
