If you've ever dreamed of a living, breathing teddy bear with a tennis ball addiction and the appetite of a linebacker, Luca might just be your guy. This 3-year-old AKC purebred Labrador Retriever is the full package-stocky, squishy, and sporting a noggin almost as big as his heart. At a glorious 95 pounds, Luca throws his weight around in the most loving way possible (just maybe move your coffee cup off the table first). Luca made his way to ACSKC from Georgia and has been charming staff ever since. He's ridiculously handsome, though he's currently going for a more 'sensitive boy' vibe-he has some skin allergies and may need allergy medication during occasional flare-ups to keep him looking and feeling his best. He's not looking to share the spotlight with other dogs-Luca wants to be your one and only. With a tennis ball in his mouth and your undivided attention, he's in heaven. And yes, food is also very high on his list of life's great pleasures. Because he's essentially a 95-pound bowling ball with no concept of personal space, Luca would do best in a home with kids over 12-not because he's anything but sweet, but because he's got the zoomies of a linebacker and the spatial awareness of a golden retriever on a mission.
