About Fred

Fred is a good boy who loves his toys, especially the squeaky ones. ���S He takes his treats gently (food motivated for sure!) and doesn't bark much. (strange for a hound, right?!?!) Fred loves long walks, but he is very strong and sometimes pulls on the leash - usually when that hound nose gets a whiff of a nearby rabbit. ���S He would be great with a young couple who enjoy going on adventures/hiking etc. A large area (or farm!) to run and explore would be great for Fred! Fred's Future owners: Please keep his ears clean so they don't get infected. Fred is a wonderful dog, and we love him like crazy - but he deserves better than we can provide. We are disappointed in ourselves because work hours and our health issues interfere with our capabilities to be the parents Fred needs. Please let me know what other information you need.
