About Richard

This long-legged boy is Richard. He is a 1yr old, neutered, male, German Shepherd. He was owner surrendered due to his owner(s) not being able to care for him properly. He is a ball of pup who is in need of a home that has another dog to teach him to dog. He spent many months on and off a chain and wasn't able to make many friends that way. He did great with the other dogs and cats when we temperament tested him. We noticed he likes to greet with his mouth and lacks the ability to hold in his excitement to meet others. He is a quick learner and just needs guidance and with that, he would be a phenomenal dog! He minds well when corrected and learns quickly when corrected by other dogs he meets. He is great with kids. He is very potty-trained and would thrive in a home with a yard to run around in! He was underweight when we first got him and he is quickly learning his feeding routine and is slowing down on inhaling his food.
