This sweet senior boy spends over 23 hours a day in a kennel and this has been going on for over a year . That's no life for such a gentle, loyal soul. Benny is the definition of an easy dog - calm, loving, great with large dogs (just no cats), and ready to give his whole heart to the right family. Sweet senior Benny's heart is breaking. This precious boy was pulled from the brink of euthanasia, saved at the very last moment - but his story still hasn't found its happy ending. For more than a year, Benny has watched his kennel friends come and go, each one leaving to a loving home�'�| while he's left behind. Day after day, night after night, he waits. Instead of warm beds and gentle hands, he spends 20+ hours in a kennel, his golden years slipping away. Last week , Benny thought he found his forever home , was so excited to get into the car for his new forever home . Life is cruel the adopter never showed up at the meeting point which was 1.5 away , no call no text. Benny's heart was shattered and so was ours . All he wants is a soft spot to rest, a few belly rubs, some good meals, and someone to call his own. He's housebroken, neutered, fully vaccinated, rides well in the car, and walks beautifully on a leash. He adores people and gets along with large dogs (no cats, please).
