Meet Tank, an affectionate 2-year-old male dog who tips the scales at an impressive 102 pounds. This gentle giant came to us through no fault of his own and is ready to find a loving forever home. Tank used to accompany his previous owner on various adventures, showcasing his friendly and adaptable nature. Tank is full of life and has a playful spirit, particularly enjoying toys that squeak. His love for food and treats knows no bounds-he's not picky and will happily indulge in a variety of snacks, making him a fantastic companion for food lovers. This big boy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and has tested negative for heartworm. Currently, he is receiving treatment for Lyme disease, but with proper care, he is expected to make a full recovery. While Tank understands a few basic commands, he would greatly benefit from additional leash training to help him become an even better companion. Tank is sociable and gets along well with other animals, displaying a friendly demeanor. He is also house trained, making him an easy addition to any household. His goofy personality and laid-back attitude make him a joy to be around. Overall, Tank is a big, lovable goofball waiting for the right family to welcome him home. Just a friendly reminder: he weighs 102 pounds, so he's definitely an extra-large dog! *Interested in adopting? * To take the first step towards bringing this lovely dog into your home, please complete our online application at https://www.guernseycountydogshelter.com/ or click the round purple button to access it.
