Meet Dusty - A Gentle Soul Ready for His Forever Home 11 months old �'ۢ Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix �'ۢ 18 lbs Dusty is a sweet, sensitive pup who's looking for a patient and loving home where he can feel safe and begin to thrive. At just 11 months old, he's still learning about the world-and it's clear he didn't get much early socialization. Simple things like walking on grass or wearing a harness are still new to him, but he's making progress every day with gentle encouragement. Sudden movements and loud noises can still startle Dusty, so he'll do best in a calm, stable environment. He's learning that people can be trusted, and once he feels safe, he wants nothing more than to be close to his person. Dusty is house-trained and will go to the door when he needs to go out (he's just figuring out that the back door is the new routine!). He would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time to give him the attention and companionship he deserves. He is learning to play with toys and the other dogs in his foster home and would benefit from another dog to show him the ropes and to play with. A securely fenced backyard is required. Dusty is available for adoption through PAWS Rescue Inc. His adoption fee is $325, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines.
