About Caden

Meet Caden. An 8 year old German Shepard mix rescued from Alabama when he was 12 weeks old. Caden has been a great dog for many years. He's a fast learner and aims to please. His favorite activities are playing ball and swimming. Unfortunately, once I became pregnant he became very aggressive towards outsiders, especially men. He also became very anxious at doggy day care and he was asked to not return. After having both children, he is always on high alert and does not like strangers coming into our home. He is great with my children and people he knows however he cannot be trusted with new people. We have had him bite people that entered the home before!** We did serval training classes with a bite dog specialist and have learned to cope with this and adjust our lifestyle. An unfortunate family incident has arose, and we can no longer live in our situation and our new situation cannot accommodate an aggressive dog. He truly is a good boy, he loves to be outside and playing, he tolerates so much with my kiddos and would do best in a home with no other pets. He did live with a Doberman (female) for a few years that he has known since we got him and they got along fine until it came to food. Finding a good home is very important to us.
