Meet Aspen! *Please read full bio* Age: 8 weeks, approx birthdate 7/1/25. Breed: border collie mix. Size: approx 5lbs at this time, we believe he will be about 45ish lbs. Training: working on leash and crate training. They are just pups and will need continued guidance and training. Good with dogs/cats? Yes to both. Good with men/women/kids? Yes. Personality: friendly, affectionate, and playful. Reason for rescue: owner release, mom was hit by a car and they needed assistance with the pups. The pups are microchipped, and current on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. They will be required to be spayed/neutered before 6 months of age. Aspen is a sweet, playful puppy with a heart full of love and just a little something extra that makes her unique ��ե. She has a very mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). �Ϭ What is CH? Cerebellar Hypoplasia is a neurological condition that happens when the part of the brain that controls balance and coordination doesn't fully develop. The important thing to know is that it is non-progressive-meaning it will never get worse. In fact, many puppies improve as they grow and learn to adapt! �Ϭ What does this mean for Aspen? Her case is so mild that it's barely noticeable. She may seem just a little wobbly or uncoordinated at times, but she doesn't even realize anything is different about her. With time, her coordination may continue to improve as she grows stronger.
