About Norra Jane

This is Miss Norra Jane. She is a 5yr old, spayed, female, Terrier mix. This beautiful girl is the most remarkable dog I've had the absolute pleasure in getting to know in a very long time! She came into the shelter system in January due to the people who were supposed to be loving her and protecting her, using her for breeding and leaving her in the snow after taking her babies. This led to her having multiple surgeries. She reads the room extremely well and LOVES to gently carry a stuffy in her mouth and is very proud to show it off! We have temperament tested her with about 16+ other dogs and Norra is absolutely AMAZING! She's incredibly adaptable and adjusts her play style to match the other dog's energy and personality. She truly is 'who they need her to be', whether that's a submissive comfort or a playful buddy. She's so great with other dogs! She let dogs run over her, be dominant over her, snap at her (with absolutely no reaction). If she doesn't like something that another dog is doing, she just gracefully walks away as if nothing ever happened and never holds it against them; she was very open to meeting dogs again. She is so smart that she almost seemed to try to meet them in a different way that would maybe allow them to react differently to her. We all love this girl so much!!
