About Bijou

Meet Bijou! Approximately 3 month old Catahoula. She may be mixed with another breed, as she is a little bit small for her age. She came to the animal clinic I work at after being hit by a truck at about 6 wks old. Her right hind leg and pelvis area were injured, though you'd hardly know it now as there's no slowing her down. Because of her injuries, breeding is not advised. Bijou wants to play, play, play, and can be quite nippy, as she is still learning boundaries, gentle play, and teething. Because of this, she may not be a good fit in a home that has small children, or older fragile animals. She seems to do well with other herding type dogs that can meet her energy level. She likes cats, and is learning how to interact appropriately with them. She loves to play outside and would do well on a large property or fenced in yard.
