About Lex

Lex is 12 years old. He is friendly and very playful, but also loves longer naps in his cat bed throughout the day since he has gotten older. He needs a stable, loving home, with someone who has experience with cats and cat behavior, particularly with cats with human abuse in their past. Play is very important for him like therapy for humans. He needs play every day to help him get his energy out in a healthy way and help bond and socialize. He is very smart and trainable and listens really well. I hope I can find someone who will be better for him than I can be right now. I am dealing with some health issues and can't take him with me where I am going. And I do not want to put him in a shelter. That would be the worst thing for him. Please think about adding Lex to your family if you have no other cats (he doesn't get along with many cats - only one female cat ever) but he does get along with small dogs well.
