About GERTIE

GERTIE found our home; we believe she ran off or was dumped on our dirt road in rural northeast Colorado about an hour and a half east of Denver. We kept her after several attempts to locate her family were unsuccessful. We only have small dogs so would like to find her that person/family that is more big dog oriented. I had my vet see her since I was not able to get any back history on her. We gave her first rabies and her first vaccination which has been boosted. She is now good and current for a year. He estimated her at barely one year of age. Gertie is sweet to everyone and everything. Gertie has inside manners, knows how to use the smallest of doggie doors, lets you know when she needs to go outside and will hang out on the floor or couch with you. We have crate trained her as well and is respectful with a training collar, just using the noise button. We feel someone spent a lot of time train her and was an inside house dog.
