About Lazuli

We're searching for the right home for our beloved Aussie, Lazuli. She's a beautiful 5-year-old spayed female, full of energy, love, and Aussie smarts-but unfortunately, no longer the right fit for our home with a young child. ���� About Lazuli: �'ۢ Affectionate, loyal, and playful �'ۢ Loves frisbee, belly rubs, and being chased with toys �'ۢ Crate-trained, housebroken, and knows basic commands �'ۢ Up-to-date on vaccines and spayed �'ۢ Takes daily Apoquel for environmental allergies (allergy panel has been done; specific allergy meds can be ordered if desired) �s%A0��%8F Why we're rehoming: Lazuli has a strong personality and has shown some sensitivity and overstimulation issues-especially around our toddler, including a snapping incident. We no longer feel comfortable letting her share space with our child, and keeping her separated is affecting her quality of life. She also has tension with our other dominant female dog (occasional fights), so ideally she'd be an only dog or in a home with careful introductions. ��%8F� Looking for a home with: �'ۢ No young children �'ۢ No other dominant female dogs (case-by-case with intros) �'ۢ An experienced owner familiar with herding breeds �'ۢ Someone willing to manage her allergy care and give her the attention and activity she thrives on ���%8D Located in Ocala, Florida, but willing to travel for the right home.
