Captain is an 11-month-old, 35lb mixed breed with very good boy energy and a heart of gold. After a ruff start to life (abandoned as a puppy, rescued, then faced with uncertainty again), this brave little explorer has landed safely in Wisconsin and is ready to navigate his way into your heart. Stats & Skills: Kennel trained (he even dines in style in his crate) Up-to-date on vaccines Scheduled for neuter on 5/28 (he says he doesn't really know what that means, but okay...) Knows 'go outside?', 'go potty', 'kennel up', and his personal favorite: Treat Time! Walks well on leash (unless a bird appears...then it's GO TIME! ) Personality Highlights: 'ۢ Naturally shy at first - but once you pass the 'trust test,' you're officially on the cuddle crew. 'ۢ Will follow you room to room like a soft, fuzzy shadow (and gently lick your toes just to say hi). 'ۢ Gets along with kids, is curious (but not aggressive) toward cats, and respects his fellow foster brothers (even if mealtime requires a little separation). 'ۢ Prefers a calm environment - loud noises are scary, okay? Captain is seeking a loving, patient family to help him go from survivor to snuggle champion.
