About Callie

Say hello to Callie - A gentle soul on the road to recovery. Callie is a 10 month old female BC mix. She is a shy pup who came to us from a hoarding situation. Now spayed, vaccinated, and in a foster home, Callie is starting to experience what it's like to be a real dog for the very first time. Her early life was spent mostly outdoors with limited human contact, so she's currently learning the basics, commands and socialization. Her foster home has other dogs, cats, and even parrots and she does great with them all. She's mostly house trained now. Horses and goats still scare her, but her foster is gently helping her build confidence around them. While she is learning to play with other dogs, she really lights up around people and prefers to hang out with them. Callie needs a calm gentle owner who will continue to encourage her to come out of her shell. A quiet home and with someone patient she will continue to blossom into the happy, confident dog she is meant to be.
