About Mocha

Meet Mocha, a tender-hearted pup with soulful eyes that will take patience for her to trust you. Found trembling in the woods this sweet girl has had a very rough start in life, but her gentle spirit shines through. Mocha is a very scared girl, who we think, was abused in her previous home. She keeps her tail tucked, ears down and is always on alert but don't let that fool you. She, once she knows you are kind, is a very loving girl. She loves the company of cats and other dogs as it gives her comfort in uncertainty. She is crate trained, potty trained and does well on a leash. Mocha will need plenty of time to feel comfortable in a new home. We are searching for the right, patient home to give this girl the love and attention she so longs for. Her world is scary to her and it's not her fault. With one treat, one belly rub, one loving home she will enjoy her life in a world that once abused her. Mocha warms up to females better than males but she is slowly coming around. She is ok with kids but is still scared and timid. An ideal home would be more calming as she decompresses.
