About Zuko

MEET ZUKO! Zuko is an almost 2 year-old Golden Retriever looking for his forever family. We don't know much about his past, but we do know he's sweet, goofy, and incredibly deserving of love. We are currently fostering him after his previous owner could no longer provide proper care, but we can't keep him much longer and urgently need to find him a permanent home. Zuko spent most of his life caged and neglected, leaving him a little underweight, behind on vaccines, ungroomed, and still unneutered. Despite this, he's healthy overall, full of personality, and still such a happy boy! He's very energetic-he loves to run, jump, and play-so he'd do best with an active family and a yard to burn off energy. He's incredibly smart, kennel trained, mostly potty trained, and knows basic commands like sit and shake. Zuko is great with kids and other animals, though his size and energy mean he may accidentally knock little ones over when he's excited. He's playful with dogs and mostly ignores cats (with the occasional chase). We've never seen any aggression from him. With neutering, consistent training, and a loving home, Zuko will blossom into the best dog and a wonderful addition to a lucky family. Please help us give 'Zukky Boy' the forever home he's always deserved!
