About Louie

We are not certain of his past - but we do know that no one is looking for him- and we can tell that this has broken Louie's heart. What Louie needs is a solid place to put his paws on. A person who will love him for the good boy that he is- and be the stability that he needs to shine. Louie is much better with meeting strangers- in fact - he goes right for them once in sight and is eager to hop onto people s laps and or lick faces. Note: Louie's real self comes out while sunbathing - In fact sometimes its hard to get him back inside! Do you have a patch of green grass that Louie can lie down while he watches you garden? Do you have flowers in your backyard that he can smell and shade he can doze off in? All Louie wants is a person to trust and grow close to. Note: Louie has grown a lot since he has been with us and has met many strangers including children. He met his first toddler the other day and only expressed curiousity and gentleness. :) P.S.- Louie has a new favorite blanket that he tries to drag outside with him - his crankiness is dialed almost to a zero. Hello there the adoption fee is $20.00 CASH OR CHECK it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 60 day window can be extended however only by a vets discretion. You do not legally own the animal until proof of vaccination and sterilization have been given to us. You may come to the shelter any day of the week between 8 am and 4:30 pm, just please give us a call beforehand to let us know you are coming at 281 291 5644. Thank you!
