About Whiskey

Whiskey is a dog that is comfortable no matter how humid, no matter how cold and yes- no matter how wet. Rain doesn't phase this guy - we had to clip a bucket to his kennel in order to hold his drinking water- and to prevent him from making his kennel a personal slip and slide. Whiskey is strong and always has a smile on his face. We are not sure where this renegade came from - or why he was left behind- but we do know is that this dog is ready for his next adventure- in the ocean- in the desert- in the mountains. Wherever you roam - Whiskey will be there! Note: Whiskey really is a tour de force -deep down he is a goof ball that wants to be liked - so much so you might catch him imitating your movements. Whiskey also knows the command sit- and loves his treats! Hello there the adoption fee is $20.00 CASH OR CHECK it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 60 day window can be extended however only by a vets discretion. You do not legally own the animal until proof of vaccination and sterilization have been given to us. You may come to the shelter any day of the week between 8 am and 4:30 pm, just please give us a call beforehand to let us know you are coming at 281 291 5644. Thank you!
