About Wendy

You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and to ask about availability, and to address your specific questions. Meet Wendy Wendy is a silly girl who is about 1 year old. She is a petite size, at 43 pounds. She is energetic and sweet. She is a vocal girl who howls at squeaky toys! (pictured) She has done well with other dogs and is very playful with everyone! She likes treats too! Her all brindle coat makes her stand out for sure! It is somewhat of a puzzle to identify her breed mix. There are various breeds that have this lovely brindle coat- French bull dog, Boxers, Great Danes, Pit bulls, Plott hounds, and more. Kind of leaning toward the sweet Plot/retriever mix. She knows how to sit! We don't have history since she came in as a stray, but believe she would do well with kids with proper guidance. She is still learning about how to not jump up when excited, but is super smart and learns quickly! She's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives.
