About Chester

Please prepare to provide the following information to the staff about you, your family, the city in which you live, other pets, your fenced yard, and whatever else will help identify your family as a good match. You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and to ask about availability, and to address your specific questions. Meet Chester Chester is a ~4 year old boy who weighs ~75 lbs. He's a sweet boy who takes a few minutes to warm up to new people. He loves squeaky toys and will chase after them when thrown! He doesn't show much interest in treats though. You may be wondering why he is shaved. Well, he came to us severely matted and saving his coat was unfortunately not an option. He's lived with and met many dogs and he's very tolerant and co-existent with them. He has no known history with cats or kids, but we are hopeful because of his gentle demeanor. He's looking for a home where he can learn confidence in himself and be introduced to living indoors! He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives.
