About Dixie

Dixie is a teacup toy Australian Shepard. Her weight is just under 10 pounds, but don't let that fool you. She's a wild bunch of energy all in a little package. She will play fetch. She loves attention and will make sure she gets it. She is 7.5 years old; birthdate December 12 She was recently diagnosed with Congestive Heart failure with a grade 4-6 heart murmur. She is on medication. You would think this would slow her down. Not a lick. We just aren't able to afford her medical care as I am on a fixed income now. We would like her to go to a nurturing home that can handle her medical issue and show her the love she needs, because she will give it back tenfold.
