I picked JD up when he was running down the middle of a busy county road on the first day of school fully expecting to find his people. That was on 8/7, and though he's posted on social media and I have put out over a dozen signs around the area, no one has claimed him. He is very high energy and needs a home where he has room to run and gets a lot of attention. He gets along with fairly well with the elderly female dog I have him in with. They have gotten into a couple of scuffles due to her intolerance of his energy in a confined space. They were easy to break up verbally and he respected her after that. Once he's calmed down, he's super sweet and wants to please. He responds to my husband better than me, and knows how to sit.
