About Pappy

Hi my name is Pappy but my 'Human/Best Friend' called me 'Pup Pup'. My 'Human/Best friend' passed away tragically two weeks ago. He had me since I was a puppy and we were inseparable, I went with him everywhere. I didn't get socialized a lot with other dogs, and I don't really care for cats. I don't have a lot of formal training but I will sit and lie down for a treat. I like other dogs but I want to play with them and may seem a little overzealous at first. I have to warm up to other humans, but it doesn't take much. My Auntie is my new best friend and I have really only known her for a couple of weeks. I love to play frisbee and fetch and I love treats. My owner used to take me on runs but I haven't let anyone take me for runs since he passed. I am good around my grandparents but they are in their 70's and 80's and I am to big and strong for them to keep. I have been living in my grandma's basement for four years with my human. I am sad without him and really just have been hanging out on his bed, waiting for someone that will love me and take care of me. I haven't been neutered yet and I am willing to get vaccines. My family has exhausted all of their options in our hometown and beyond but everyone already has a dog or doesn't want a 'scary' pit bull.
