About Xenna

My sister abandoned her pure bred husky (that's mom was full Siberian and dad full malamute) with me and I'm trying to rehome her. She's a 6 year who is showcasing behavioral issues that I know are common with huskies, such as escaping through our backyard and from inside the house. I can't have her escaping and getting attacked or attacking anything. I work full time and am also going to college full time and I don't have the time to take care of or train her for rehoming. Unfortunately she is reactive and is not leash trained, so I don't want to surrender her at a shelter because I fear they would put her down. She's also not good around kids but is around small animals. I don't know if she's good around other dogs in a home. She is sweet and talkative, just reactive. She has a high energy level and loves to meet new people, she's just a jumper. She has a hard time with her paws being touched for long, just because of a bad experience she had with a groomer.
