VERY FRIENDLY YOUNG 1 yr CHOW/RETRIEVER LOOKING MIX NOW AT APPLE VALLEY ANIMAL SERVICES, Apple Valley, CA (So Cal) - ID #254174 -- NEED A GOOD HOME OR FOSTER AND RESCUE TO SAVE HIS/THEIR LIFE- GOOD W/OTHER DOGS (POSS CATS) TOO. Pls contact the shelter to adopt. Came in with what seems to be a sibling of similar size and temperament. Can be adopted, fostered and saved together or separately. We are in urgent need of finding either a good home or a foster and rescue for these two dear dogs. We understand their owner was looking for homes a few weeks back and said they were good with dogs, cats and love people. Originally there were three, but two ended up as abandoned strays at the one of the highest kill shelters in the state. They come available to adopt on 8/19 and are available for rescue pull or euthanasia the very next day on 8/20, per the shelter listing! Their real names are Milo and Otis but we are unclear which one is which as they look very similar. The shelter lists them by ID. 254174- he is listed as 1yr old, weighs 58 pounds and was vaccinated 8/13 around the time he came in. 254175- he is listed as 1yr old, weighs 62 pounds and was vaccinated 8/13 around the time he came in. The shelter describes both dogs as 'Very friendly, energetic, needs behavioral training, walks on leash Dogs will be neutered for an adopter, but do not have long and may need rescue.
