About Kota

Kota is a Dutch Shepherd mix, 6 years old, spayed and up to date on shots. She is a great guard dog. She has higher energy and loves to run. She does well with dogs her size, but will go after cats and small dogs. She may have been trained as a hunting dog so couldn't be around smaller animals, chickens or anything. She drinks water with other dogs fine, but she was previously starved and had to fight for food so she needs to be fed separately and have chew toys separately. She loves to chew and needs chew toys. She's really sweet, loves belly rubs, and giving hugs. She's been around kids probably 6 years and up and they loved her and she did fine. Younger kids could get knocked over because she gets excited. She knows sit and wait commands, and gentle command when taking a treat. She loves watermelon, any fruit, car rides with the window open, and playing in and drinking water.
