About Dottie

Dottie is a beautiful blue tick coonhound mixed with blue heeler. She's 50% both, right down the middle according to a dna test. I affirm that because she looks like a gsp to a lot of people. She's behavior trained, she's very affectionate and loves her family, but she wasn't socialized right by her mom bc of an early death.. so she's timid when it comes to vulnerability. As a result, she will thrash and bite if she's not sure what the persons intentions are. On a farm she'd be so happy. She probably needs an owner who can be strong with her and trust that in a year or two she'll be a great pet or worker. She already is, but, she's so big and rough that her puppy playfulness has truly worn us out and now we're looking for someone who loves her. If you are a fan of blue tick coonhounds and have the desire to raise a semi-mature, highly intelligent (and I mean it, she's really smart), and loving dog, then please inquire.
