About Milo

Milo is an 11 month old, 85lbs, awesome GSD who lived with kids and other dogs. Crate trained. Seems ok with cats but we have no confirmation nor can we guarantee it. He is looking for a new forever home after his family decided they can no longer afford to feed him. From a volunteer that took Milo on a field trip: 'I took Milo out today, and he impressed me from the very first moment. He hopped right into my car, tail wagging, and rode quietly without a peep. On our walk, he was an absolute gentleman - loose-leash walking for nearly 4 miles and ignoring squirrels and other dogs we passed. During our walk, we stopped for a break on a trail bench, and he sat politely by my side, calmly watching people and bikers go by. Milo's true joy? Fetch! His eyes light up the second he sees a ball. If he drops it too far from your feet, just point and he'll excitedly bring it closer. He's incredibly focused and motivated during play, yet calm and polite when it's time to relax. He's a big, handsome, and affectionate boy who would make a wonderful companion for an active family.
