About Goldie

Sweet Goldie was turned into the shelter by the only family she knew with a request for euthanasia! The shelter reached out to us in hopes of giving her a chance, and we said YES! She arrived in a heartbreaking condition. She had a massive tumor hanging from her chest, a widespread skin infection that's turned her skin black, and her poor tail tells the story of long-term neglect. Even after everything she's been through, all Goldie wants is love. She's been gently asking for pets and offering nothing but sweetness in return. At 6 years old and 80 pounds of pure sweetness, Goldie deserves a soft place to land while we figure out next steps medically and allow her to enjoy being spoiled and loved unconditionally. Goldie likes getting pets, trying tasty treats, following her human around and is learning how to play with toys! She's great around other dogs and cats, we don;t know how she acts around kids. What we do know is that she needs a family to help her feel safe and loved.
