About Linus

At just 1 year old and 25lbs, Linus has already survived more than most dogs ever should and come out the other side with a heart full of love. When he first entered the shelter, Linus was in unimaginable pain. His body was raw, scaly, and infected from a severe case of mange. The stench was unbearable, and even the gentlest touch made him cry out. But with time, care, and lots of love Linus made a full recovery. And now, he's ready to find the forever family he deserves. He might be a little shy at first, but give him just a little time and you'll see his sweet, loving personality shine through. Once he warms up, he's incredibly affectionate and forms strong bonds with his people. He's done wonderfully around other dogs and will thrive in a home with a confident canine friend to show him the ropes. Whether it's joining you on an outdoor adventure or curling up for a cozy nap on the couch, Linus is happy just being by your side. He's the perfect mix of playful and chill - ready to hike one moment and snuggle the next. We're not sure how he feels about cats or kids yet but we do know he's worthy of a soft place to land.
