About Princess

Princess and Draco are a Catahoula/Pitt bonded pair who previously lived separately and both in neglectful homes. Princess was surrendered to me after the owner could no longer care for her (again thank goodness). I took them both in knowing that it was not forever and instead my goal was to try and get them healthy and socialized (as both were terrified of everything). Princess has come a long way but she still needs time and exposure, as she is scared of people specifically men! I got both dogs spayed/neutered and up to date on shots and heartworm. All they need now is a safe and loving home! The dogs could be adopted together or apart as there are both pros and cons to each. Potential adopter for Princess: 50 lbs and thin/medium build. Due to her past, she is very nervous and skittish around people. It takes her a while to earn one's trust but once she does, I guarantee she is an amazing dog. Princess is hilarious and makes me laugh daily with her funny personality and little quirks. In addition, she is very loyal and loving. What she needs is somebody to give her a chance. She needs people in her life who will give her the time, space, and patience needed to overcome her past and learn to love and trust again. Princess is more chill than Draco but also loves to run and play. She is not cat-friendly, and I don't recommend a home with small children as she gets scared and reacts to sudden movements and loud noises. Princess loves and follows my son though, so again, it's a matter of trust. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to meet either or both.
