About Lulu

(DOB 05/30/2022) Lulu: a lovable, one-of-a-kind goofball with a heart of gold. She's sweet, playful, affectionate, and genuinely just wants to be close to her people. Whether she's tagging along for a car ride, goofing around with her doggy friends, or curling up nearby for some quiet time, Lulu brings joy into every room she enters. She really does love all of her four-legged foster siblings (Golden, American Staffordshire, Maltese and Multipoo) and every person she meets! Having at least one other friendly furry in her new home would probably be best for LuLu as she watches, learns and loves them very much. One of Lulu's most adorable habits is her solo dining ritual. Although we use elevated food and water stands, she insists on gently removing her bowl and carrying it off to eat alone in another room. It's her little routine, and we love that about her. And when she first came to us, she'd clearly never seen stairs-or a TV! But now she confidently trots up and down the stairs and sleeps peacefully next to the bed. As for the television? She watches it like she's following the plot and has been watching that show for years. Speaking of watching TV, she is pretty much a couch potato, so is happy hanging inside with her family most of the time; she does not need a fenced yard. Another little unique thing about LuLu, you may notice she walks a little differently, but it never slows her down. She has a slight bow-legged-ness (or as we like to say, 'Texas-style')-so instead of a smooth run, she's got an adorable little hop. It's just another part of her charm. She still enjoys some playtime and would likely love a teenager in the home that would love her deeply. She is likely to love more than many; it's just her way! Quiet, loyal, and full of heart, Lulu is a treasure waiting to be discovered. One more surprise? She doesn't bark; not even a little at least not yet! So, an apartment, condo or townhome would likely be ok for LuLu. Lulu is calm, goofy, and deeply loving. She's looking for a family that will let her be herself, quirks and all, and in return, she'll give you her whole heart.
