Black and Tan Coonhound mix

Ripley - Sweet, Smart, and Ready for His Forever Home Meet Ripley, an 18-week-old hound mix who is as lovable as he is smart. Found as a stray in early July, Ripley has since been to the vet for his first-year vaccines (he'll just need his next two parvo boosters). He currently weighs just over 20 pounds and still has some growing to do. Ripley is the ultimate lap dog in a puppy's body - he loves snuggling, enjoys his peanut butter Kongs, and can't resist a good stuffed toy. He's doing well on a leash and outside lead, and he's kennel-trained for mealtimes and bedtime. This bright boy is already learning 'sit' and 'leave it,' and would thrive in a home ready to continue his training. Ripley is great with other dogs and curious (but respectful) toward cats - even though his bouncy puppy energy can be a bit much for cats who aren't used to dogs. He's good with children, but because he's still in the jumpy, mouthy stage, his ideal home will have kids who can handle playful puppy behavior. If you're looking for a companion who's affectionate, trainable, and always up for a cuddle, Ripley could be the perfect match. He'd love a home with space to explore and an adopter who can give him the time, attention, and guidance he needs to grow into the amazing dog he's meant to be. Adoption fee is to recoup some of the costs from fostering him. Ripley will come with all his things including but not limited to: kennel, bowls, toys, treats, collar/leash, food
